Last week I had a chance to photograph two adorable girls Harper and Tatum. We were hoping for a little more sun and the gnats were making the afternoon a challenge, but in the end I think we ended up with some good shots. Tatum was nursing a little black eye, and for some prints it has been photoshopped out, but for this blog post I left it in because I think it reflects the character of a toddler! More photos after the jump! Enjoy!

We visited the Aamodt Apple Orchard this weekend to pick my oh-so-favorite apple, the Honeycrisp. Of course the trees towards the back looked so full of apples I had to venture to the outskirts. It wasn’t until later that I realized I picked nearly a bag full of Harelsons. Boo me.
Either way, the girls put on their best “Emo Band Album Cover” poses and I propped them up on this old tractor. Pair that with a texture from an adjacent barn and voila!
The blog is back! After many months of re-doing so many things on the website, etc. the blog was in dire need of updating. In fact, it was completely wiped! As much as I hated to see so much content go away in a nano-second, it feels good to start over. I will re-post some old blog posts here in the coming week and then focus on new content. 2011 is coming to and end but it is a great new beginning for Jeff Luke Photo! Thanks everyone!
